Eyebrow Lift

Brow Lift Sydney

Eyebrow lift elevates the upper eyelids, reduces frown lines, and smooths the forehead effectively lifting years off our male patients’ faces.

Sagging brows or eyelids may also impair vision, and this problem is easily corrected through eyebrow lift.

With eyebrow lift, our patients experience minimal discomfort and the recovery process is relatively short. Men with certain inherited traits like a low brow or those whose faces show a lot of deep frown lines due to stress or overactivity of muscles will benefit from an eyebrow lift procedure. The eyebrow lift procedure may be done in conjunction with our other male cosmetic procedures to achieve a more harmonious facial appearance.

During the initial consultation prior to the eyebrow lift procedure, Dr. Merten may ask you to look in a mirror and point out exactly what you would like to see improved. Sometimes, patients may focus their attention on excess skin in the upper eyelids and not realise that sagging of their eyebrows contributes to this skin redundancy.

We want you to be very frank in discussing anything about your appearance that bothers you, as well as what you hope to achieve with surgery. This will help Dr. Merten to understand your expectations and determine whether they are realistic or not.

There are a variety of ways to elevate the brows during the eyebrow lift surgery and correct aging changes in the forehead area. Dr. Merten will closely examine your entire forehead and upper eyelid region, noting the muscle activity when you assume various facial expressions. The particular eyebrow lift surgical technique that Dr. Merten will recommend depends on many factors such as the position of your eyebrows, the amount of excess upper eyelid skin and the height of your hairline.
