"I have always wanted bigger breasts ever since I can remember, however after many years of researching the procedure, but being too worried to do anything about it, my mother informed me that she had heard about Dr Steve Merten.
I rang Steve’s Macquarie Street office and made an appointment. From the moment I walked in I felt immediately comfortable. There was a feeling of genuine warmth with not an ounce of pretentiousness. I was greeted by his staff like I was an old friend.
As soon as I met Steve I instantly knew he was the one I trusted to do the procedure. He took the time to find out about me and what I was hoping to achieve from the procedure then informed me what would be better for my frame etc and thoroughly explained every aspect of the procedure and what to expect after. He answered every question I had without me even having to ask.
I was booked in for day surgery and was treated wonderfully by all the staff. I left the same afternoon feeling absolutely fine. The aftercare by Steve and his team can only be described as amazing. I was given Steve’s mobile number and told to call anytime of the day or night. Liz and the girls called me all the time to check how I was.
Four years on, I can honestly say that I am beyond happy with my breasts. They are everything I wanted and more. I was scared of having an unnatural and hard look but they feel and look so realistic. There is not a day that goes by that I regret having the procedure or choosing Steve to perform it. I also lead an active lifestyle and they are never “in the way” or uncomfortable, they are wonderful.
About a year ago, I sustained a facial injury whilst on duty at work. Steve and his team were the only ones I trusted to go and see. I ended up having to have a Septoplasty and Rhinoplasty and once again Steve and his team, Liz and Cheryl went above and beyond. They booked me into hospital the next day and took care of every detail organizing everything with my work without me having to worry about a thing. A year on, my nose looks wonderful and once again, totally natural.
I would not hesitate for a second to recommend Steve and his team to anyone looking at having a procedure done. Steve is truly gifted as a plastic surgeon and the ONLY surgeon I would ever trust to operate on me".

"Dear Steve & Team
Since our first meeting in November 2008 and consequently booking surgery 2 weeks later for a Breast Reduction, Abdominoplasty & Liposuction, my life has been changed irrevocably.
I felt fully informed at every stage, from our very first meeting, during the pre and post surgery, and whilst in the care of the wonderful nurses at the Hunter’s Hill private hospital.
Deciding to have all the procedures done at the one time was a little daunting at first. As a working mother of 2 children I needed to know exactly what was ahead of me. Steve explained everything in detail and also made sure I knew the risks involved and the discomfort I could expect to feel after the procedure.
I followed Steve’s advice to the T and had a trouble free recovery. It was a lot less painful than I expected it to be and within 3 weeks I was able to move around and perform menial tasks. Steve said I shouldn’t expect to feel completely normal until 3 months after the procedure but only 2 months later, I was dancing with my daughter at a concert!
I couldn’t be happier with the results. I am able to wear clothes I never dreamed I’d be able to wear again and I feel 10 years younger!

"Having had plastic surgery now on two occasions I can highly recommend Dr Steve Merten and his team. The service and level of professionalism is unmatched. "Dr Merten was referred to me via a friend who had breast reduction surgery, with which she was delighted. Steve Merten was the one I trusted. The only one I trusted. From the first consultation through to the surgery and after care, I was kept informed of everything that would take place. I was experiencing what Dr Merten explained to me as ‘bottoming out’,

"When I first met Dr Merten I was happy and at ease with him. He took his time to ask me what result I as after - I was mainly after a natural look. So after measuring me for my height and body structure we then went through shapes and a final look that he would achieve. I was a bit scared about the whole “breast enlargement” procedure but this was something that I had talked about for a few years on my views and what I wanted for ME; not what my husband wanted. " I was referred to Dr Merten for the removal of a squamous cell carcinoma on my face - just below my left eye, adjacent to my nose. The procedure was explained to me in detail and I was a little apprehensive regarding my appearance after the surgery. I need not have been concerned.
